Christmas Preparations

We have had a lot of fun this December with all of the Christmas preparations. We kicked off the season by visiting Santa.

Brielle would only shake his hand. Liam hopped right up there and told him everything he wanted.

Next we went and picked out a Christmas tree. We decided to go big.

A little too big...
We swear it wasn't this wide at the Christmas tree farm.
Graham had to trim the bottom, the top and the back. It was so big when we got it in there. Graham and I couldn't stop laughing. It took up half of our living room. It felt like the forest.

I love this picture. Liam loves his Santa costume.

After getting the tree all trimmed we realized most of our light strands didn't work, so I had to go get new ones before we could decorate. We had to use Liam's grabber toy to get lights and decorations on the top of the tree.

Liam chose to put on the Superman ornament first.

Brielle chose a My Little Pony ornament.

We went to several parades around town.

We play Santa and elves almost every day.

Even Liberty has a festive Christmas costume.
We baked gingerbread cookies. Liam made and decorated these all by himself.

We also made our annual gingerbread houses. Mine is the one covered in candy.

I got my hair and makeup done at a salon party. It was fun getting all dolled up.

They can be so loving sometimes.

We went to a Santa party. This is my favorite picture of Liam and Santa.

And FINALLY Brielle sat on Santa's lap. She hopped right up there and told him that she wanted a "Candy Land Book."
