Halloween Costume Party

Last night we went to an adult only Halloween party. We wanted to be something original. So, Graham came up with this idea. He is a pinata and I am the birthday girl. We have candy on the front of him like he is broken open.

We started making the costume the night before the party, but we ran out of duck tape, so Graham had to spend 4 hours on it the next day at work.

I had fun shopping in the kid clothing section to make up my costume.

At the party we won an award for the Most Elaborate costume!

Below is a picture of the dessert we brought. I made a pinata that matched Graham and filled it with candy.

We had a great time at the party. We already have another original costume planned for next year.

Our dessert won an award for the "Best Match to Costume."

Liberty Blue

Yes, we have a dog! Graham has wanted a dog for a long time now. I told him we could get one when he turned 30, so here she is. Graham bought her the day after his birthday this year, but we just got her a week ago. Graham had to pick her up in Reno. She came from a farm in Texas. She is an Italian Greyhound. She was born on the 4th of July, hence the name Liberty.

Liam was very excited about getting a dog. He talked about it non stop for about a month. Brielle loves the dog too. She is constantly walking around saying dog.

 This is Liam wearing his crown he made at preschool. See how happy a dog makes him! I try and remember that when it feels like I have 3 kids.

She is a very sweet puppy. We look forward to spending many years with her.
