Golfing & the Fair

We decided to take Liam to the driving range and let him hit a few balls. He was surprisingly good at it. He could hit it a few yards. He really enjoyed it. We plan on taking him again this summer.

Now that Liam is tall enough we decided to take Liam to the fair. Here he is smiling with daddy.

We bought some tickets so he could try the rides. We didn't know if he would go on by himself. The first ride he wanted to try was the Flying Dragon.

He climbed right on all by himself and rode it. He Loved it! He said it was like a big swing.

Then he rode the cars.

I took him on the dragon roller coaster. We were on there for 5 minutes! He really enjoyed it though.

Liam loved the fair. We had a great time with him. It was like going to a little Disneyland for him.

Even though we spent $40 it was worth it, because of the joy it brought him. We plan on going to the fair again next year.

Lots of Family Fun

We started off the week camping in cabins with my family at Lake of the Woods. Liam loved roasting these huge marshmallows. We spent 2 nights up there with all 4 of my siblings.

Here is a picture of some of my family out on the dock. That is Mount McLoughlin in the background. That is the same mountain you can see from our front porch.

Daddy and Liam rowing around in a boat.

After camping we hiked Table Rock. Brielle is happily riding along.

She only lasted about 10 minutes.

Here we are at the top! It was a fun, tiring walk.

We left Liam with my parents, so here is a picture of the 3 of us at the top.

That night we threw my parents a surprise 30th anniversary party. It was a Hawaiian theme. Here is Brielle in a cute hula skirt.

The both did the hula for my parents.

Yeah 30 years! They were really surprised and excited about the party!

We all did 2 hula dances for my parents.

Here is a picture of all of the family members that came up for the party.

On 4th of July we went to the Central Point parade. They both enjoyed it.

That night we had people over for dinner and did some fireworks in the yard. Then we watched the fairground fireworks from the field in front of our yard. Our neighbor then did an amazing firework show in the field. They were going off right above our heads. My entire family loved it.

The next morning we went on the Hellgate Jet boats. Graham got soaked.
They let Liam pretend to drive the boat. Both Liam and Brielle fell asleep on the boat.
Here is another cute picture of Brielle and Daddy working on their computers.

Brielle is Walking!

Brielle is walking at 9 1/2  months! We think she just wanted to keep up with Liam. Both kids were early walkers. Liam started walking at 10 months. She loves walking around the house. Check out this cute video of her walking.

Summer Fun

We have had a lot of fun the last month! Summer is off to a great start. Here is Liam dressed up as a clown. We went to a circus birthday party.

Here is the big 9 month girl getting into trouble!

Here is the pretty girl playing in the backyard. Brielle just started taking a few steps on her own. She hasn't got the confidence to take off on yet, but she should be walking well soon.

Here is a picture of us with Jessica. We got to see her when we were in Grass Valley.

Here we are with Josh at his high school graduation. We are very proud of him!

Here we are enjoying a beautiful fountain.

Here is our little superman. He has been wearing the cape everyday!

Brielle enjoying watermelon on the front porch.

These are the matching shirts Liam got daddy for Father's Day!

Big Brother and Little Sister!

Liam had a pool party! He had 10 little friends over for an afternoon of fun. They did slip n slides, pools and sprinklers.

We took Liam to his first movie in the theater. We went and saw Cars 2. He was really excited about it. He wore his Lightening McQueen shirt. When we walked in and saw the big screen he was mesmerized.

Here is Liam enjoying all of his movie treats! We let him have a lot of fun treats to try and help him last through the whole movie.

He only lasted a little over an hour and then told us he was ready to go home. So, unfortunately we didn't get to see all of the movie, but it was a fun experience. Later that night he told me he wanted to go back to the Cars movie. I think we will wait until next summer to take him to anymore movies.

Liam bought some roller skates with his birthday money. He is trying them on for the first time in this picture.

Here he is trying them out for the first time. He wanted to try and skate around the block.

He only lasted a few minutes! He loves it though. He wants to try a little more each day.

Bowling & Kite Flying

This memorial day we decided to take Liam bowling for the first time. He was really excited about it. He picked out the orange ball.

Here we are getting ready to bowl.

They had these great ramps for the kids to roll the balls down the lane. This helped them get enough speed to get it to the pins. He also used bumpers.

We invited 2 of his friends to join us. Here is Dominic and his dad.

Here is Owen and his dad.

As you see from the score Liam almost beat me! He was only 5 pins away from beating me.

After we finished bowling we went to the arcade and played games. This is the first time we let Liam play games with money. We normally just have him pretend. The boys earned tickets then picked out little treasures! Of course Liam wanted candy!

Here are the boys!

When we got home we flew his new kite he got for his birthday. It was a lot of fun.

Overall, we had a great day!
