This memorial day we decided to take Liam bowling for the first time. He was really excited about it. He picked out the orange ball.
Here we are getting ready to bowl.
They had these great ramps for the kids to roll the balls down the lane. This helped them get enough speed to get it to the pins. He also used bumpers.
We invited 2 of his friends to join us. Here is Dominic and his dad.

As you see from the score Liam almost beat me! He was only 5 pins away from beating me.
After we finished bowling we went to the arcade and played games. This is the first time we let Liam play games with money. We normally just have him pretend. The boys earned tickets then picked out little treasures! Of course Liam wanted candy!

When we got home we flew his new kite he got for his birthday. It was a lot of fun.
What a fun outing! We still haven't taken our kids bowling yet. That sounds like a good date idea for our mommy/son date.
